Sight protector with spring muzzle cap, cleaning rod, and leather military sling in good condition included. Action is smooth, bright bore is very good. Stock has been sanded and refinished, showing a few light scratches and an area of roughness on the right side below the rear sight. Condition overall is very good with almost all of the dark blue refinish remaining on metal surfaces. Matching numbers on bolt handle, mismatched numbers on stock and other parts. Right side of buttstock has faint original cartouches with an added ''flaming grenade'' stamp. Rifle appears to have been arsenal re-built with right side of barrel below rear sight stamped ''S/42'' along with two ''(Eagle)/WaA63'' inspection stamps. Marked on receiver ring with ''(crown)/AMBERG/1917'', and on left side receiver rail ''GEW.98''.
